Inspections Now Guaranteed “As Described”

Effective December 9, 2019

True inspections done the way you want them every time. And now these inspections are backed by BuyAuctionAuto. For a fee of $125, we will guarantee the accuracy of the items that we inspect and disclose.

WHAT WE COVER:

We guarantee that the items we inspect to be an accurate refection of the vehicles condition. Please see our “Inspection Items” list for what we cover below.

Upon receipt of your car, you have 5 calendar days and up to a maximum of 80 miles to check the vehicle out and request an arbitration.

If there is a discrepancy with one of the items that we inspect on a vehicle that you purchased, simply request an arbitration by contacting your assigned dealer or your auction specialist. We will investigate and validate the claim and come to a resolution quickly. Most arbitrations are resolved within 1 to 5 business days.

All arbitrations are subject to an aggregate deductible of $300 (all discrepancies under $300 will not be grounds for arbitration, including KBB miss-books). For example, if you buy a vehicle with a bad transmission that we said is good, and the cost to repair is $1,500, we would simply cut you a check for $1,200. The cost to repair will be based on a labor rate at a maximum of $95 per hour plus parts. All  labor times are derived by use of the Mitchell 1 labor guide. The use of aftermarket parts, used, rebuilt or new parts would be at our discretion when determining the cost of repair.

The disclosures that we make include all comments made by our field inspector as well as all photos taken. Please take the time to look at each car carefully.

BuyAuctionAuto would also have the option to unwind the car. In this case, you would receive a full refund plus transportation fee minus the $125 guaranteed “As Described” fee.

We may request that you drop your vehicle to a repair shop that we choose for further diagnostics. The buyer would pay the diagnoses fee ($95 per hour) if the issue found is not grounds for arbitration. If the issue found is ground for arbitration, BuyAuctionAuto will pay the diagnosis fee.

If you do not drop your vehicle to the requested diagnostic shop and time chosen by BuyAuctionAuto.com, the vehicle will be deemed a “buyer bought”.
