Refund Policy

All security deposits placed on BuyAuctionAuto.com are refundable only when a vehicle has not been acquired by one of our affiliate dealers from the involved auction. These situations can arise when:

• The vehicle sells for more at auction than the highest bid you offered through BuyAuctionAuto.com
• The particular auction does not approve your offer
• You cancel your bid during the pre-bidding period before the live auction for the vehicle begins.

If the vehicle has already been acquired from a particular auction by one of our dealer affiliates and you (the buyer) forfeits the sale your security deposit will NOT be refundable.

The method of refund will be completely at the affiliate dealer’s and or BuyAuctionAuto.com discretion. All refunds sent by wire will be subject to both incoming and outgoing wire fees which will be deducted from the refund amount. All refunds to Credit Cards will be subject to Merchant’s fee of 3% if and only if Credit Card Company (Bank) charges, otherwise there will be no deduction.

Fees

• US Customers – Bank Wire $85
• US Customers – Check $40
• US Customer – Credit Card Merchant fee 3% of deposit
• International Customers – Bank Wire $95

When Are Refunds Sent?
Refunds are processed on a weekly basis and remittances sent within 30 days of the customer request.
